If you or someone close to you has struggled to find lasting relief from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) using traditional therapies, you are not alone—and you are not without hope. At Tennessee Ketamine & Wellness Center in Franklin, we provide clinically guided IV ketamine treatments designed to ease trauma-related symptoms safely and effectively—often bringing relief in a matter of hours, not weeks or months.
Our Franklin clinic offers a calm, confidential setting where you’ll be supported by a team of licensed medical professionals with experience in treating mental health conditions like PTSD. When other treatments fall short, ketamine therapy can help rewire the brain’s response to trauma, reduce hyperarousal, and restore emotional stability. We are here to help you reclaim peace, clarity, and a better quality of life.
Standard antidepressants, such as SSRIs and SNRIs, can take 6 to 12 weeks before patients feel noticeable improvement. Ketamine, by contrast, often produces measurable relief within 24 hours after just one infusion, thanks to its powerful, fast-acting impact on glutamate-based neural activity.
PTSD alters the way the brain processes fear, memory, and stress. Ketamine helps reverse this by blocking NMDA receptors, which are involved in overactive glutamate transmission—a key contributor to PTSD-related neural dysfunction.
Ketamine enhances neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to rewire itself—by activating the mTOR and BDNF pathways, two mechanisms known to stimulate new synaptic connections in regions tied to emotional regulation, memory, and mood.
By doing so, ketamine doesn’t simply mask symptoms—it targets the brain’s trauma circuitry directly, helping individuals process distress in a more balanced and healthy way.
Each patient begins their journey with a comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessment to ensure ketamine therapy is a safe and appropriate fit.
Your care plan is customized to your needs. We offer both single “rescue” infusions and structured multi-infusion protocols, based on your history, severity of symptoms, and treatment goals.
For those seeking deeper healing, we offer the option to integrate your infusions with therapy sessions provided in collaboration with licensed mental health professionals. KAP combines the chemical and emotional reset that trauma survivors often need to move forward.

Ketamine for PTSD is considered an off-label treatment, so insurance coverage varies. We’ll assist you with verifying benefits and navigating financing or payment options.
Clinical data shows that symptom relief can last for 3 to 4 weeks after a full treatment series. Ongoing maintenance infusions or KAP can help extend these benefits for many patients.
