Chronic pain doesn’t just affect your body—it reshapes your daily life, strains your relationships, and undermines your independence. At Tennessee Ketamine & Wellness Center in Franklin, TN, we specialize in advanced IV ketamine therapy for individuals living with debilitating, treatment-resistant pain conditions. For patients who haven’t found lasting relief through conventional medications, nerve blocks, or surgeries, ketamine offers a new path forward.
Our approach is rooted in science, compassion, and a deep understanding of the complex nature of chronic pain. We provide personalized care in a comfortable, medically supervised setting—so you can focus on healing and reclaiming your quality of life.
We believe chronic pain deserves serious, evidence-based solutions. Our focus is on treating pain conditions that involve the nervous system—where signals become distorted and amplified, often long after the original injury has healed.
IV ketamine therapy is not a bandage. It doesn’t mask symptoms temporarily. Instead, it targets the central nervous system directly—helping to reset the faulty pain pathways that drive chronic, neuropathic, or centralized pain. Our team works closely with each patient to design a treatment plan that is thoughtful, safe, and built around your unique condition and goals.
Most conventional pain treatments rely on opioids or temporary nerve blocks. These approaches may offer short-term relief, but they often fail to address the deeper issue—your nervous system’s overreaction to pain.
IV ketamine works differently. It blocks NMDA receptors in the brain and spinal cord—key channels that transmit and amplify pain signals. By inhibiting these receptors, ketamine helps reduce central sensitization, allowing the nervous system to “relearn” how to interpret pain.
It also promotes neuroplasticity, encouraging the growth of new neural connections that can help restore balance in pain-processing regions of the brain. For many patients, this means a substantial and lasting reduction in pain after just a few sessions.
Before beginning treatment, every patient undergoes a thorough medical and pain history review to determine candidacy. If IV ketamine is appropriate for your condition, we will create a personalized infusion plan based on the type, duration, and severity of your pain.
Each infusion is administered in a private, quiet treatment room under close supervision by our medical team. You’ll receive a sub-anesthetic dose of ketamine through an IV line, typically over 40 to 60 minutes. Most patients remain awake and relaxed during the session, though mild dissociation or a dreamlike state is common and temporary.
After each session, we monitor your vital signs and ensure you are stable before leaving. Many patients begin noticing changes in their pain after just a few infusions.
Our team is experienced in treating complex pain conditions with ketamine and understands the nuances of individualized care.
All treatments take place in our Franklin clinic, which offers private rooms, continuous monitoring, and a calming atmosphere.
No two pain conditions are the same. We tailor every treatment plan to fit your needs and track progress along the way.
We are here to help you move beyond just coping with pain—to help you reclaim activities, relationships, and well-being that pain may have taken away.
If you’re living with chronic pain that hasn’t responded to standard treatments, IV ketamine therapy may offer the breakthrough you’ve been searching for. At Tennessee Ketamine & Wellness Center in Franklin, TN, we are committed to helping you find relief, regain function, and move forward with your life.
